The Nonprofit Finance Fund conducts a series of three- to four-hour workshops on financial awareness, strategic financial tools, and the links between money and mission for leaders from small and midsize nonprofits. Two workshops per year are available in each region (Central Coast and San Joaquin Valley). Up to eight nonprofit organizations are competitively chosen from the workshop participants to receive customized and in-depth financial technical assistance.

The Nonprofit Finance Fund team is currently working one-on-one with the following organizations:

Selection process:
Workshops attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis, and organizations that receive in-depth technical assistance are selected from workshop attendees on a competitive basis. The Nonprofit Finance Fund has created an advisory board to publicize the availability of the workshops. Half of the workshops are aimed at small or young organizations (generally with budgets under $250,000) and half at more experienced organizations whose budgets exceed $250,000.
